“vision stretches” is about “temporal extensions of my creative vision, intended as a zoom into a particular creative phase I have experienced.
I began this journey in 2017, along with the trends of those years.
the first zoom revisits and reinterprets the very first garment I ever created a sweatshirt dyed using the tie-dye technique, with one half in one color and the other half in another. At the center of the chest, it featured a plastic label meant to be written on with a marker, an idea that turned out to be somewhat of a nightmare.
with these two products, I aimed to summarize everything I have learned about hoodies over the years.
the proportions were calculated using the golden ratio, resulting in a very distinctive fit that can be described as boxy,
the fabric used is remarkable: a 465 GSM French terry made of 100% cotton, making each sweatshirt weigh about one kilogram.
The design of the first piece features a star on the front, echoing the typical tie-dye pattern, maintaining the thematic consistency.
both sweatshirts have undergone stonwashes, staying true to the original concept.
I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, which began in 2022 and was released in September 2023.
